I'm Alive! Rejoice! And I bring pictures!!! Well...A picture but I'm working on that!
Haha, with your art a comic sounds VERY promising... can't wait.
i've got one, myself, but its been on page 8 for 2 months now, because my pen tablet broke, im waiting to buy a new one....
so lately ive been posting art that i've been doing with my pen. frankly, though, its kind of worked towards my benefit that it broke, i've had time to practice different deatails on the body and other stuff like that.
anyways, good luck getting started, i re-drew the beggining page like 7 times before i finally got what i wanted.
My first comic got its start a year ago, my artwork sucked, but because of the fact that its a comic, i got to 26 pages (on computer paper with a pen), and realized that the art in my last page, compared to my first page had improved dramatically, plus the story itself sucked, i wasn't much of a writer.
Then the second comic. Same deal, basically, this one reached page 87, and, of course, i went back and looked, and this time my artwork was AMAZING compared to the beggining. Also, i didn't like the story, so, i restarted, again.
And now. I actually have something going, finally, plus i've learned how to use photoshop, to make them look better, but lo and behold, my pen tablet breaks as soon as im starting to really get into it.
WELLLLLLL the actual story started over two years ago during a d&d campaign. I presented the idea to my friend/near sister in florida who is good with this stuff. I drew up the characters and we worked on the basics of the story
I started the pages, got so far and then she realized that there were some discrepencies. We have been spending the whole two years talking the story but there were parts we missed. SOOOOOO we spent about a month, redid the ENTIRE story and just recently got all the characters revamped and ready to go.
But its fine anyways because my artwork has become awesome so viola
Hahaha, its a good feeling, right?
after i finished typing my earlier comment, i went and found my first sketchbook, and helod some of my current art up to it, and its kind of a "look how far i've come" kind of feeling. :3
back when i drew my first anime character and was just disgusted iwth it to the point of not even wanting to try, and now a year+ later, it pays off!
well i have a pic in my gallery i think called how time flies and it has five pics on it each from different points in my drawing career so go ahead and take a look at that
